Dess Dior’s Dad, Darrell Lawrence Bailey, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A 14-Year-Old Girl Who Lived In His Home

Dess Dior’s dad is behind bars after being accused of raping a 14-year-old girl who had been staying with him.

The victims mother, Alexis, spoke with The North Carolina Beat, and said she met Lawrence Bailey while working at Home Depot in 2022. The two of them ended up hitting it off at work, and over time became somewhat of good friends.

In January 2023, Alexis opened up to Lawrence about wanting to get away from a man. He told the woman she could stay at his house with her daughter. Alexis said that in February 2023, Darrell walked into her daughter’s room in the early morning hours and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Alexis said she told her daughter the day before the attack happened that she was coming to get her and her siblings. “He got to her, before I could get to her,” she said to The North Carolina Beat. “He raped my daughter in the wee hours of the morning.”

Alexis was two hours away at a funeral. When Alexis returned to the house Darrell was gone. She called the police who arrived shortly after. They ended up taking the clothes she was ‘wearing, & bedsheets,’ to be analyzed. While waiting for the results to come…Darrell was still out on the streets a free man.

Alexis and her kids end up staying at hotel for the time being, until the police notified them that Darrell was arrested on February 27, 2023. He was charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, statutory rape, and aggravated child molestation.

Alexis said the day after Darrell was arrested Dess came by her father’s house and offered a apology for her father’s sick actions, but returned the following day to try and evict them out the house with her brother, but was unsuccessful.
