Florida Nurse Arrested For Poisoning Her Neighbor’s Pet Because They Wouldn’t Stay Out Her Yard

A Florida nurse has landed herself behind bars for poisoning her neighbors’ pets who wouldn’t stay out her damn yard.

According to Polk County’s Sheriff’s Office, a recently concluded investigation showed that on August 16, 2023, 51-year-old Tamesha Knighten made good on her threats to kill her neighbors’ pets.

Tamesha had grown tired of the neighbors’ cats and chihuahua coming into her yard pissin’ and boo-booing with their constant purring and barking. Tamesha was captured on video wearing a glove while holding a styrofoam bowl.

In that bowl, was a deadly mixture of chicken and phorate, a pesticide found in insecticides. Tamesha told authorities it was her “special sauce.”

On Aug. 16, the neighbors’ cats died within hours of each other after both experiencing symptoms of choking, foaming at the mouth, significant physical pain and an inability to breathe. The neighbors then discovered their pregnant chihuahua was also deceased.

The neighbors confronted Tamesha who was their number one suspect. Unable to think quickly, she suggested the pets probably swallowed frogs.

The Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that she has been charged with three counts of felony animal cruelty and one count of depositing poison in a public area.

Looks like Tamesha will be sharing yards now…a prison one that is.
