Migrant Teen Released After Times Square Attack On An NYPD Officer Has Been Arrested Again For His Involvement In A Robbery Of A Macy’s Store In Queens

One of the migrants allegedly involved in an incident where two cops were assaulted has been arrested again….this time for his involvement in a robbery of a Macy’s store in NYC.

According to the NY Post, Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19, was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbery and petit larceny.

‘He is one of four people charged for allegedly entering the Queens Center Mall around 5:33 p.m. Tuesday and “acting in concert” to steal clothes that they tried to hide in bags.’

When a security guard confronted the group, one of the individuals punched him in the face. He ended up suffering minor injuries but refused medical attention. The group ended up taking off.

Darwin was previously hit with second-degree assault charges for kicking a police officer and obstructing governmental administration for Times Square attack back in January. The entire incident was caught on camera.

‘Video showed Darwin with a gang of other asylum seekers kicking the pair of New York’s Finest in the head and body before running away.’

Due to his most recent arrest, Darwin is currently being held without bail.
