Former ‘Bad Kid’ Mikel Moore, 18, Arrested & Charged For Shooting At A Police Officer & Hitting A Civilian

Two people were arrested after one of them fired a g*n while running away from police and h*t an innocent bystander in their home.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said officers were investigating a “suspicious incident” when they saw three people get in a car and leave.

Police said they pursued the vehicle until the intersection of North 43rd and Odell streets, when the three people got out and started running around 11:30 p.m. Officers caught 29-year-old Eric Brown immediately. He was given a misdemeanor summons for resisting an officer and released.

BRPD said an officer was chasing 18-year-old Mikel Moore when the teenager fired a sh*t at the officer behind him. Moore missed and the b*llet h*t a nearby resident in their home. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Moore was apprehended by a k9 officer, but the third suspect is still at large. Moore was booked with eight counts of attempted first-degree m*rder.

“Took the bad kid role too seriously,” someone commented. “All the money in the world can’t make these yungins do right,” another person wrote. “He had the life most of us wish we had,” someone else penned.

“Mike tried telling em..” another netizen wrote in reference to Mike’s warning at the time. “Don’t matter if black people rich or poor they still gone act the same,” added someone else.
