President Joe Biden Proposes Tax Cut That Will Give Homebuyers $400 Per Month For Two Years

President Joe Biden is trying to put a smile on the faces of future homebuyers, by putting more money in their pockets.

“President Biden believes housing costs are too high, and significant investments are needed to address the large shortage of affordable homes inherited from his predecessor,” a statement from the White House says.

President Biden is urging Congressional Republicans to pass his plan which proposes a $10,000 tax credit spread out over two years in $400 monthly payments, for first-time homebuyers and individuals that want to sell their first homes.

The statement from the White House also stated the President’s goal to lower “homebuying and refinancing closing costs and crack down on corporate actions that rip off renters.”

While this is a good news, there have been mixed reactions from people. “He also said that he was going to do student loan forgiveness,” someone commented, adding laughter emoji. “They gotta be able to afford the damn house first Joe!” another person wrote.

A lengthy comment addressing the news says: “I really wish people would realize that when a President makes changes and they get approved you don’t see the consequences until they’re out of office or if they make two terms it’s towards the end of the second term. Y’all are so stuck on how good the economy was when Trump got into office. That’s was due to the things that the Obama administration did.”

The comment that has earned over 5 thousand likes continued, “The reason the economy is in shambles now is because the Trump administration went in and changed everything that the Obama administration put in place. He was so stuck on undermining what Obama did that he set out economic back. But y’all keep listening to him. Biden got stuck with a raw deal. Not saying he’s that much better but l’d rather have him out of the two. Please educate yourself.”
