Air Marshal Pulls Out Gun After Passengers Attempted To Enter The Cockpit To Argue With Pilots

A video is currently making rounds online, showing the moment an Air Marshal pulled out a gun after passengers attempted to enter the cockpit to argue with pilots.

In the clip that has since gone viral on social media, specifically on X, formerly Twitter, the air marshal can be seen securing the entrance with a gun pulled out to stop passengers from entering the cockpit.

“Back… move.. please move back,” the air marshal whose name seems to be Mohammed, can be heard saying while the passengers at the sight of the gun, became more coordinated, telling the air marshal to calm down. “It’s okay Mohammed, calm down,” one of the passengers can be heard saying.

There are currently no much info on the 30 seconds clip, but it has since been garnering reactions from folks online. “Could have been an attempted hijacking if he didn’t interfere … one will never know!” someone commented.

A user gave a context to the clip in the comments section saying: “Dissatisfied with the landing airport, some Nigerian passengers tried to invade the cockpit of the aircraft to speak with the pilots.” The user continued, “However, a company security guard pulled a gun and pointed it at the passengers as a measure to prevent anyone from entering the cockpit.”

Another user provided details to the viral video saying: “Security officer tries to push back Nigerian passengers on Jordan Aviation airlines plane from reaching the cockpit. This incident occurred on a Jordan Aviation Boeing 767, where a Jordanian security officer drew a gun on passengers near the cockpit during a charter flight from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria.”

The user continued, “The video depicts passengers attempting to approach the cockpit after the plane diverted to a different Nigerian airport. Jordanian laws prohibit passenger access to the cockpit. Frustration arose among travelers when the airline attempted to offload passengers at the diversion point, prompting them to seek communication with the captain.”

“However, the security officer intervened, resulting in the tense standoff captured on camera. This happened in 2022,” the user added.
