With the Big 3 beefing, rap fans have been having the time of their lives. But J. Cole suddenly folded and he’s got a lot of Hip Hop addicts angry. It all started when Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and J. Cole on “Like That” off Future and Metro Boomin’s album.

J. Cole then fired back on “7 Minute Drill” off his surprise project “Might Delete Later.” However, he backtracked and has now apologized to Kendrick for dissing him.

“I pray my nigga didn’t feel no way but if he did I got my chin out take ya best shot I’ma take it on the chin, I ain’t gonna lie to yall past 2 days been terrible it let me know how I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years,” the North Carolina rapper said at Dreamville Fest, adding that his team will be taking the diss off streaming services.

Cole continued by stating that he felt pressured to publicly respond to Lamar after witnessing the discourse it incited. “I was conflicted because, one I know my heart and I know how I feel about my peers, these two n—s that I just been blessed to even stand beside in this game, let alone chase they greatness. So I felt conflicted ’cause I’m like, bruh I don’t even feel no way. But the world wanna see blood. I don’t know if y’all can feel that, but the world wanna see blood.”

He also explained that releasing the diss “spiritually [felt] bad on me,” and “that shit don’t sit right with my spirit.” “That shit disrupts my fuckin’ peace. So what I want to say right here tonight is in the midst of me doing that and in that shit, trying to find a little angle and downplay this n—a’s fucking catalog and his greatness, I want to say right now tonight, how many people think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest motherfucker’s to ever touch a fuckin’ microphone? Dreamville, y’all love Kendrick Lamar, correct? As do I.”

This came as a shock to many including DJ Akademiks, who has since blasted Cole in a lengthy rant on Twitter over the apology. Many on social media are furious and have been expressing their disappointment at the “Love Yourz” rapper.

In fact, according to many Hip Hop fans online, J. Cole is no longer part of the ‘Big 3’ conversation, claiming they’ve removed him from the elite list. They’re now debating on who will replace him on the list.

“The Big 3 from now on is Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Future. J Cole eliminated from all hip hop conversations.. apologizing for dissing a nigga who violated u… is not hip hop,” DJ Akademiks declared.

“J Cole a whole b*tch He had smoke for Lil Pump but turns into a bitch when it’s someone his own size Kendrick was right about the “Big 3” someone commented on the situation. “This nigga J Cole folded in less than a week dawg don’t EVER tell me that’s he’s part of the big 3 again,” another person wrote.
