Houston Mom Facing Charges For Leaving Her Two Kids, 6 & 8, Home Alone For Nearly A Week While She Went On A Cruise

A Texas mother found herself behind bars and facing charges after she allegedly abandoned her two young kids to go on a damn cruise…..Her not so smart lil a** left them kids at home for almost week.

According to the NY Post, Lakesha Woods Williams, 29, was hit with two charges of child endangerment after the authorities found her 8-year-old and 6-year-old alone in their apartment last Thursday.

Lakesha left her kids to take her solo trip on April 4 and came back on April 10th. Her neighbors contacted police about the children’s welfare after spotting her leaving the apartment building on April 4th with luggage, and noticed after a few days that she hadn’t returned.

Police ended up doing a welfare check on ‘April 9 and found the two kids alone in the apartment trashed with garbage and food all around the floor and a “potent smell of urine,” the documents state.’

The two kids told police that their mother did leave to go on her lil trip but kept into contact with them through a camera in the apartment and via text messages to the 8-year-old.

The kids are now with Child Protective Services. Lakesha was booked into Harris County Jail on a $40,000 bond and her next court date is set for Monday.

“I don’t want to go on a trip that bad. I couldn’t even enjoy myself WORRIED ABOUT WHAT MY KIDS ARE DOING,” someone commented. “Prison isn’t enough for people like this,” another person wrote.

“SMH why is this happening so frequently?! What is wrong w some of these mothers. SMH poor kids,” someone else penned. “How do ppl treat the only people in the world that love them unconditionally like this ! Your babies are you ! Wow! I wish I could save all the kids,” another user added.
