Jennifer Lopez Blamed For TikToker’s Death After Monetized Account Was Banned For Using Copyrighted Footage Of J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez is at the center of more controversy after she is now being blamed for a Tiktoker’s death. Well, the Tiktoker recorded a video saying that “if she was to die of colon cancer” blame J-Lo for having her monetized Tiktok banned.

So here’s the backstory! According to a report by Forbes, Tiktokers were not happy with Lopez’ new documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”

Creators on the app, including some of Lopez’ alleged old classmates, challenged the singer’s story about her upbringing. Basically, they “called cap” on everything. Many TikTokers have called J-Lo performative and claim that she’s lying about her “working-class” upbringing and her connection to the Bronx area.

Many say she hasn’t even contributed much to the community despite all of her success.

Unfortunately for those critics, they were all hit with copyright notices for using scenes from J-Lo’s documentary in their critiques. Something they feel was only done to those who had negative reviews.

One of the TikTokers, 36-year-old Kyle Marisa, said that her account had received copyright strikes on every single video that contained footage from The Greatest Love Story Never Told — as a result, her account was permanently banned.

Kyle’s TikTok was monetized, so she shared that she was struggling with paying her bills since its deletion. A few weeks ago, Kyle spoke about the violations and said “she robbed me of everything, if I die of colon cancer it’s on her. On Tuesday, Kyle’s family announced that she unfortunately passed away.

While the cause of death hasn’t been announced. Many social users are criticizing J.Lo for the violations Kyle received. Some assumed the ban affected Kyle’s ability to afford healthcare.
