Of course, Ryan Garcia’s win is a win for all Mexicans. The boxer had an unexpected victory in his fight against Devin Haney, surprisingly scoring 3 knockdowns.

According to Compubox’s punch statistics, Ryan Garcia landed 106 of 285 blows (37.2%), compared to 87 of 214 for Haney (40.7%).

However, the disparity in power shots made all the difference with Garcia landing more than twice as many (95) as his opponent (45). Just in, fellow Mexican celebrity, Tekashi 6ix9ine has now reacted to Garcia’s win.

The rapper gave props to Ryan for getting a win for Mexico. Taking to his Instagram story, 6ix9ine tagged Ryan to his post with a lot of Mexico flags. Evidently, he’s overly excited for the victory.

“Ryan beat the refs, Haney, and the Illuminati,” someone commented. “Ryan really him gave that boy Haney a whole new sleep schedule,” another person wrote. “Both got love for the motherland so it woulda been a dub either way,” someone else penned.

As we previously reported, Devin Haney’s father, Bill Haney, reacted to Ryan Garcia smoking on the Haney pack by asking for a rematch. “We’re outside.. when we went in, we came out in defeat. I did always say that I believe Ryan Garcia was a good fighter,” he said on live.

Bill continued, “He fooled you guys, and they thinking he was crazy, I knew that he wasn’t crazy.. You know, it was a good fight.. definitely want a rematch.”

“Devin is still the WBC champion, he could lose the belt because Ryan was overweight, he didn’t make the scale. But we wanted to make the fight happen. My son is the best son in the world, to me.. and I love him to death. I’ll continue to go in back for him, I’ll continue to stay outside,” he added.
