We previously reported on Ryan Garcia’s post-fight antics, after he shared a video of himself seemingly smoking and taunting Devin Haney’s father. Garcia puffs and laughs while taking aim at Devin Haney’s father, he said: “Smoking on that Bill Haney pack.”
Just in, Bill Haney has now reacted to his son Devin Haney’s loss. “We’re outside.. when we went in, we came out in defeat. I did always say that I believe Ryan Garcia was a good fighter. He fooled you guys, and they thinking he was crazy, I knew that he wasn’t crazy.. You know, it was a good fight.. definitely want a rematch,” he said on live.

“Devin is still the WBC champion, he could lose the belt because Ryan was overweight, he didn’t make the scale. But we wanted to make the fight happen,” he continued.
“My son is the best son in the world, to me.. and I love him to death. I’ll continue to go in back for him, I’ll continue to stay outside.. You know what I mean, we didn’t just start this journey when we started boxing. So I’mma back him fully, I ain’t going nowhere, Period,”
“So whenever we get back in the gym.. we gon definitely hold our head up high, chest out chin up.. That’s what it means by being an Haney,” Bill added.
Before the fight, Bill Haney made it clear they are ready for Garcia to die in the ring. “He disrespected boxing, he disrespected people, he disrespected the sport,’ Haney told the press. ‘If he dies, he dies, just like [Ivan] Drago said.”
“This ain’t no game,’ he continued. ‘I’m sending my son to go kill him.” Unfortunately, things went sideways for the father and son.
