Woman Calls Out The Houston IRS Office After They Closed Abruptly Due To Fight Breaking Out: “We Want Our Munyun!”

A Houston woman is going viral after she’s seen slamming the IRS office in a video making rounds online.

In the viral clip, the unidentified woman called out the IRS office after they closed abruptly due to a fight breaking out. The way she spoke and when she said “We want our munyun” have been the highlight of the video.

“Hello I’m at the IRS and then they talking about they taking us to jail if we don’t leave cause two women got in a fight but they taking it out on all of us,” she began.

“All of us need out munyuns. It is our right,” she continued. When asked how long she’s been waiting, she replied: “I’ve been waiting for hours, you feel me. We want our munyun. I ain’t going nowhere, verify my return, I need my money. Real talk,” she added.

“I’m scared of anybody that say “Munyon”,” someone commented on the clip. “Let’s not focus on how she’s behaving and let’s focus on the IRS telling thousands of people to come to these locations and then closing at 2 PM and leaving hundreds of people in line,” another person wrote.

“She’s about to be a tiktok voice over. So no one else was available for the interview??” someone else joked. “Worked all year. Putting in over time. Just for the IRS to say we don’t know you,” another user added.

We previously reported that some residents in Atlanta got a letter from the IRS stating they have to verify their identity in person to receive their refund. The IRS said they were going to hold the event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but tensions quickly rose after the doors closed hours before the scheduled stopping point.

They also plans to add additional staff to help with the influx of calls and have set another event for May 18th. Apparently, the issue wasn’t just in Atlanta.
