Ryan Garcia, an underdog, came victorious in his fight against Devin Haney, surprisingly scoring 3 knockdowns. Ryan landed 106 of 285 blows (37.2%) according to Compubox’s punch statistics, compared to 87 of 214 for Haney (40.7%).

However, the disparity in power shots made all the difference with Garcia landing more than twice as many (95) as his opponent (45).

As we previously reported, Ryan in his post fight speech said he was underestimated because he’s pretty. “You guys hate on me cause I’m pretty and sh*t.. Man that’s f*cked up. At the end of the day, I’ve been boxing my whole life,” the champ said.

What’s causing more controversy is Garcia’s post-fight antics, after he shared a video of himself seemingly smoking and taunting Devin Haney’s father. Garcia puffs and laughs while taking aim at Devin Haney’s father, he said:

“Smoking on that Bill Haney pack.” The video has since gone viral on social media, garnering mixed reactions from fans.

Ryan continued on X, formerly Twitter, “I know people are so mad. Imagine just imagine a guy that trolled non stop Beats a p4p fighter and then is just chilling bruh that’s hilarious Muhhahahahahaha.”

“Honestly I was just hurt and that why I became so mean, my B. I’ll try my best. Not to be petty. It’s just so hard not to be but ima chill,” he wrote in another tweet.

“Woke up sad thinking people should’ve got that Ko bet. Ref that 7th round should’ve been stopped. Point deduction wasn’t warranted, never received a warning. Crazy man,” the boxer added.
