Larry Sanders Thinks J Cole Has A Real Shot At The NBA
Larry Sanders Backs J Cole, Says He Has Real Chance To Make NBA Roster
J Cole‘s NBA dream is gradually turning into a reality. He’s been getting massive support following Master P’s announcement of the Dreamville honcho’s desire to pursue a career in the NBA. P said Jermaine has been seriously training for his basketball debut.
The Detroit Pistons had earlier showed interest in signing Cole to the team, telling him to “Hit us up for that tryout. He’d also seemingly inspired Dave East to also chase his NBA dream.
And again, former NBA player Larry Sanders, revealed in an exclusive interview with TMZ that he believes J Cole has a real chance to make the NBA. “I do [think he has a shot],” for real,” Sanders who played in the NBA for six seasons said.
“I’ve seen him hoop before in some games. I know he took the game seriously when he was younger and he always rapped about it. So, that’s dope. I’m excited to see that. You always see guys crossover from the NBA to music, but you don’t see guys crossover from music to the NBA. So, this will be dope if he accomplishes this.”
The former baller followed up with an advice for Cole: “It’s gon’ be just like the music game. Me doing music, everybody kinda laughed at me. Everybody kinda went at my head and challenged me. I had to prove myself,” he said.
“He gonna have to put himself out there and accept the challenge of everybody that’s a professional coming at his head.”
