3-Year-Old Blind Boy Found Dead Inside Freezer In A Detroit Basement

A blind 3 year-old boy was found dead in a freezer in a Detroit basement. Police say they are unsure how long the boy was missing or dead, but his body was decomposing when he was discovered.

Police were originally sent to the home to perform a welfare check. When they arrived, the police were suspicious of the people inside by how they were talking to them.

They tried to turn the them away, but the police decided to explore the house more and call Child Protection Services for assistance.

When they entered the basement, that’s when police discovered the 3 year-old’s decomposing body stuffed inside the freezer. They were unsure how long he had been missing or dead. Neighbors told Fox 2 that they hadn’t seen the child since March.

“We don’t know how long the child had been missing. Neighbors had speculated that they hadn’t seen the child,” Detroit Police Captain Kimberly Blackwell said.

The Police say there were five other children inside the house at the time of the discovery. The house was reportedly in “poor condition”.

The mother has been arrested and is currently in custody. An investigation is currently underway. This is terrible.
