Two Teen Girls Arrested In Chicago For Assaulting A 61-Year-Old Man & Stealing His Car

Two teenage girls down in Chicago have been hit with charges after beating and carjacking a 61-year-old man earlier this month. According to CBS News, security footage captured the incident around 5:30 p.m.

The victim, Danxin Shi, had parked his car in front of his apartment building when he was attacked by three women, one of them hitting him with what appeared to be a pipe.

“They’re holding me, you know, three people, three girls hitting and beating me,” he said. “I have a key and they took my key.”

In the video, you can see him trying his best stop them from taking off in his car, even getting right in front of the vehicle at one point.

“I tried to block them and they drove,” he said.

Thankfully, Members of the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force were able to locate the individuals responsible. A 17-year-old girl was arrested on Wednesday, and a 15-year-old girl on Thursday.

The two were charged with two felony counts of vehicular hijacking and aggravated battery to a victim 60 and over.
