Jonathan Majors Assault Trial Delayed, New Date Set for September

Jonathan Majors arrived to court in NYC for his domestic violence trial with girlfriend Meagan Good by his side. The actor is facing several charges from harassment and assault, following an alleged incident that went down back in March.

During his appearance today, the prosecution said it wasn’t quite ready for trial and the date was rescheduled for Sept. 6.

According to UsWeekly, Jonathan was arrested and charged with assault and harassment by the New York City Police Department on March 28th of this year for an alleged domestic physical altercation between him and his then-girlfriend that occurred on March 25th.

She claimed to have had “minor injuries to her head and neck” and was taken to a nearby hospital to get checked out.

However, Jonathan was dropped from numerous upcoming projects as well as his management company in the wake of his arrest.

At the preliminary hearing on June 20th, Jonathan alleged that his ex-girlfriend stole his phone and “[was] spending $6,000 to $7,000 on his credit card.” He also claimed she had attacked him several times beforehand despite not reporting it.

He filed a domestic violence report against her, stating a “drunk and hysterical” woman had physically assaulted him during the March incident.
