Footlocker, Apple & Lululemon Stores Looted In Center City Philadelphia

According to ABC News, Philadelphia has experienced an unfortunate increase in incidents of looting, with a recent target being a Foot Locker store in Center City, Apple and Lululemon store.

Earlier today it was reported that a Foot Locker store in Center City Philadelphia fell victim to looters, which was captured on surveillance cameras and local civilians.

Video footage showcased individuals smashing the storefront, entering the premises, and leaving with various items.

The Philadelphia Police Department and other law enforcement agencies swiftly sent officers to the scene to secure the area to prevent further damage.

They also plan to thoroughly investigate the incident to identify and bring the looters to justice.

The police told ABC 6 Philadelphia that the shooting isn’t related to an earlier protest involving the fatal police shooting of Eddie Irizary.

“What we had tonight was a bunch of criminal opportunists take advantage of a situation and make an attempt to destroy our city,” said Interim Philadelphia Police Commissioner John Stanford.
