Drake’s Verse On “More M’s” Was About Future This Whole Time – Explained

Drake and Future’s fallout is getting more interesting as fans keep digging through their lyrics and connecting the dots. Apparently, the shots didn’t just get fired on “We Don’t Trust You,” the beef and subliminal diss dated as far back as 2022.

Dreddsworld previously revealed that Drake and Future are beefing over a girl, and that Future’s verses on “We Don’t Trust You” was a response to Drake’s verse on “What Would Pluto Do” off “For All The Dogs” album which dropped last year.

As we noted earlier, the diss and subtle jabs have been traced back to 2022 when Drake and 21 Savage released “Her Loss.” It appears Drake was shading Future on his verse on “More M’s” off the joint album with 21.

In the first half of the verse, Drake raps “What happened to that nigga claiming OVO? We traded him, insinuating that he traded Future for 21 Savage. Recall that Drake and Future were the first to drop a joint album but the sequel never came.

For more context, Future claimed OVO in a resurfaced tweet. Pluto as well can be seen wearing OVO shirt and chain in resurfaced photos. Obviously, the line was about none other than Future.

Future addressed this on “Type Shit” off his newly released album with Metro, rapping: “Just a sad ho runnin’ through the crew type shit.” In another line, he raps: “Bunch of rich niggas, hoes get confused type shit,” and in the same song he said: “She f*ck me, ran her mouth cause I’m a boss, type shit.”
