J. Cole’s Diss Track To Kendrick Lamar ‘7 Minute Drill’ Has Been Removed From Spotify

J. Cole’s Diss Track To Kendrick Lamar ‘7 Minute Drill’ Has Been Removed From Streaming Services

Earlier this week, J. Cole made controversial headlines after backtracking from his beef with Kendrick Lamar. The North Carolina rapper had dissed Kendrick Lamar on “7 Minute Drill” off his surprise album “Might Delete Later.”

Just like the album’s title implies, Cole has now removed the Kendrick Lamar diss from Spotify, after apologizing to his friend and collaborator.

Cole shocked fans when he apologized to K. Dot at Dreamville Fest. “How many of y’all think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest ever to pick up a mic,” he said before revealing that he hasn’t been sleeping right the last few days.

“I pray my nigga didn’t feel no way but if he did I got my chin out take ya best shot I’ma take it on the chin, I ain’t gonna lie to yall past 2 days been terrible it let me know how I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years,” Cole said, adding that his team will be taking the diss off streaming services.

The removal of “7 Minute Drill” is after Cole was featured on new song “Red Leather” off Future and Metro Boomin’s new album “We Still Don’t Trust You”, which many fans termed as betrayal to Drake.

On the track titled “7 Minute Drill’ off Cole’s new album “Might Delete Later”, Cole responded to Kendrick Lamar’s diss on “Like That”, sending a few shots back.

“I got a phone call, they say that somebody dissing / You want some attention, it come with extensions / He still doing shows but fell off like ‘The Simpsons’ / Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic / Your second shit put n—s to sleep but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine,” Cole raps on the track.
