Missouri Teen Who Had Head Bashed On Concrete During School Fight Is Now Conscious

Last month, Dreddsworld reported about 15-year-old Kaylee Gain who was listed as being in critical condition after her head was bashed into the concrete during a school fight in Missouri.

According to her parents, after waking up from a brief coma, she walks without assistance but they have to walk right beside her.

She also has a belt she wears around her waist that helps with her balance because her equilibrium gets thrown off pretty easily. Kaylee’s family also said that her left bone flap will be put back in after it was removed so that her brain had space to swell from its injuries.

Kaylee wasn’t supposed to be near her high school the day of the nearly fatal altercation after being suspended for fighting the day before. From what we know, the other teen remains in custody at a juvenile detention center. Kaylee’s GoFundMe has raised almost $500K.

Kaylee can only speak in short sentences. Doctors say the slightest fall could be dangerous for her right now.

“I’m very happy Kaylee is doing better and I pray that she has a full recovery and is able to live a normal life. I’m also praying for the other young lady who I believe is being wrongfully detained,” someone commented on the update.

“She was bullied everyday by the other young lady and was push to her limit. She blacked out. I believe a go fund me should be started for her as well for legal fees. She is going to need it. She does not need to be incarcerated. It was self defense. #stopthebullying,” the person added.

“We need a go fund me for the girl that defended herself wtf!” another user argued. “So where is the go fund me link and petition for the young girl who was bullied !!! Glad your woke kaylee hopefully yu remember to not start trouble cause yu CANNOT BACK IT UP,” someone else penned.
