Woman Arrested In Brazil For Bringing Her Dead Uncle Into A Bank To Take Out A Loan For $3,000, Told His Lifeless Body “You Need To Sign”
A Brazilian woman, Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes, was arrested for taking her 68-year-old dead uncle into a bank to sign for a loan.
According to the bank, a $3,000 loan had already been approved, the documents just needed to be signed by the man. A bank teller started recording Érika once she realized something wasn’t right.
In the footage, Érika pleads with her dead uncle to sign the paperwork. “Uncle are you listening? — Sign it so you don’t give me any more headaches, having to go to the registry office. I can’t take it anymore.”

The teller said multiple times that the man didn’t look well and eventually called an ambulance. Once paramedics arrived, they examined the man and concluded that he had been dead for hours prior to arriving at the bank.
“Are we sure she’s not the reason he’s un alive? this is sick,” someone commented. “This video is sick if you see the actual video !!!!! I’m happy they blurred him out out of respect for the dead,” another person wrote.
“This almost like when a family from Mexico was trying to put their deceased relative on a plane in a wheelchair acting like they were asleep. Had my co workers patting down a deceased person was one of the craziest experiences ever,” someone else shared.
“I saw this the other day and was like WHY TF IS IT THIS SERIOUS!! The man’s mouth was agape, he was FRESHLY deceased. Rigor mortis hadn’t even set in yet, it had to be a couple hours later,” another user wrote.
“Y’all I honestly don’t think she knew he was dead they said the Uber driver confirmed he was alive in the car when he picked them up he either passed in the car or on there way inside the building bc I js think she thought he was sleeping,” someone added.
